A deputy was assaulted after a Washington DC man got a bit too heated during his wing order.
On April 5th at approximately 2:27 p.m. deputies responded to Wing Stop, located at 28 South Gateway Drive, for a disturbance. It was advised a customer was being loud, rude, and aggressive towards staff. When deputies arrived, the suspect’s poor attitude was now directed at them.
Deputies attempted multiple times to de-escalate the tangy trouble; however, the suspect continued to act aggressively. Deputies would also notice signs of intoxication and elected to detain the suspect. The suspect, identified as Cambric Hudson, 25, would resist and strike a deputy. His continued resistance would only prolong his detention by a few moments. The deputy only received a minor injury.
Hudson was charged with assault and battery on law enforcement, public intoxication, and obstruction of justice. He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $2,500 secured bond. |
