A get together at a residence undergoing renovations was quickly broken up by deputies on Sunday night.
On March 16th at approximately 8:57 p.m. Sergeant E.E. West, Deputy C.A. Sharp, Deputy X.D. Bates, and Deputy J.J. Holetzky responded to a disturbance in the Foxwood Village subdivision. It was advised a residence that was currently being renovated and should have no one inside did in fact have people inside. Luckily, deputies were nearby for an unrelated call and were quick to arrive on scene. When they arrived at the residence in question, they observed several individuals inside.
Much like cockroaches, when deputies shined their flashlights on the suspects, they quickly began to scatter. Disregarding deputies’ commands, the suspects fled out of the residence which resulted in a foot pursuit. The first suspect was easily detained after he knew he couldn’t outrun deputies and simply surrendered. All but one suspect was identified.
Within the residence deputies located multiple Four Lokos cans. This was a problem considering only one of the three suspects located were of legal age. The 21-year-old was charged with two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, unlawful entry, and fleeing from law enforcement. He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond. Juvenile complaints are pending for the 16 and 17-year-old involved. |
