Another one bites the crust. A wanted Stafford man, and pizza lover, was arrested after a not so supreme fraud. No matter how you slice it, Stafford deputies are grate at what they do.

On March 13th at approximately 8:38 p.m. Deputy B.E. Vaughn responded to a fraud report. The victim advised his wallet went missing the day prior and now, someone was using his dough. In order to prevent his finances from falling to pizzas, he made the report in thirty minutes or less. Looking through the transactions, Deputy Vaughn noticed a weirdough trend. The transactions were stuffed with more Domino’s orders than your average stuffed crust pizza.

Deputy Vaughn made contact with Domino’s Security Team and informed them of the saucy situation. Together, they were able to melt through the investigation and discovered where those $6.99 mix and match deals were delivered to. Deputy Vaughn responded to the residence in question on Oak Drive and observed a trash bag on the porch containing several empty Domino’s pizza boxes. It seemed Deputy Vaughn’s thinking outside the pizza box was paying off.

It’s not delivery, it’s di-police. Deputy Vaughn made contact with the resident in hopes he could at yeast explain the situation. Instead, it would seem the suspect could not be crusted, for he originally denied having the victim’s wallet; however, after a bit of conversation, the suspect handed over the victim’s wallet. To top this incident off like a 12-inch ultimate pepperoni pizza, the suspect was discovered to be wanted out of Stafford for a capias. He was served on his outstanding warrant and additionally charged with credit card theft and credit card fraud. The suspect was delivered to Rappahannock Regional Jail with no Doordash fee, where he was held on a $4,000 secured bond.

While it might be a bit cheesy, we commend Deputy Vaughn for serving up a deep dish of justice. Anyone looking for a supreme career with the best toppings, like generous benefits packages and take-home vehicles, can apply to join our commitment to excellence today at staffordSheriff.com/join
