A wanted Woodbridge man was arrested on Saturday evening after a brief barricade on Richmond Highway.
On March 8th at approximately 9:30 p.m. deputies learned Rafie Bell, 45, was staying in a camper on the property of an address in the 1000 block of Richmond Highway. Bell was wanted in Stafford County for a failure to appear offense.
Deputies established a perimeter around the camper and continued to give verbal commands over the loudspeaker, instructing Bell to exit the camper. Finally, after nearly an hour, Bell peacefully surrendered. In addition to the active warrant, Bell was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a firearm while in possession of a controlled substance. He was held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
Excellent work by the deputies to safely resolve this warrant service. |
