A single vehicle crash in South Stafford last night led to the DUI arrest of a Bowling Green woman.
On February 22nd at 1:43 a.m. Deputies C.R. Newman, W.A. Bolinsky and I.E. Baldi responded to an overturned vehicle in the area of Morton Road and Elizabeth Drive. Fortunately, the driver was not injured, but our partners at Stafford County Fire and Rescue had to remove the Nissan Altima windshield to remove her.
The 35-year-old driver was found to be intoxicated and was arrested.. She was charged with DUI with an elevated blood alcohol content between .15 and .2. The driver was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail until sober.
