A juvenile is facing a serious charge after making a bomb threat on a school bus yesterday afternoon.

On January 30th at 4:26 p.m. deputies responded to the area of Monument Drive and Muster Drive for a bomb threat. The investigation revealed a middle school student had loudly claimed to have a bomb during the afternoon bus ride home. Sergeant J.T. Harrod III arrived and removed the student from the bus. No explosive device was located.

Juvenile Intake was contacted and elected to release the child to a parent. A charge of threat to bomb is pending.
