A warning to drug dealers- Keep Out of Stafford County! A suspected drug dealer was arrested yesterday morning after an investigation by the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Unit.
On Sunday, December 15th deputies responded to a suspected overdose death in North Stafford. Detectives from the Special Investigations Unit joined the investigation. As the case progressed, the SWAT Team was activated to conduct a traffic stop yesterday morning in the area of Warrenton Road and South Gateway Drive.
As a result of the traffic stop, detectives seized heroin, 90 fentanyl pills and xylazine. Patrick Small, 44, of Fredericksburg was charged with distribution of fentanyl, distribute fentanyl as a weapon of terror, possession of heroin and possession of xylazine. Small was held in the Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
