The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office needs your help locating 29-year-old Eric Clark who fled from a multiple vehicle crash yesterday.
On November 18th at approximately 6:07 a.m. Deputy J.E. Alford responded to the area of Centreport Parkway and Mountain View Road for a multiple vehicle auto accident. It was discovered while traveling Southbound on Centreport Parkway, a Toyota rear-ended a Honda, which in turn caused a chain reaction and the Honda rear-ended a Nissan. Only the driver of the Honda reported minor injuries. When Deputy Alford arrived, he made contact with two of the drivers, but the third was unaccounted for. Both victims advised the driver who caused the accident fled on foot into the woods moments after the crash. The suspect was described as a black male with dreadlocks wearing an Amazon uniform.
A service request was sent to the Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office to respond to the Toyota’s registered owner’s address in an attempt to uncover who was driving the vehicle. They would inform Deputy Alford the registered owner was in the process of reporting it stolen. During an inventory search of the vehicle, Deputy Alford located identifying information tying Eric Clark of Stafford to being behind the wheel. Witnesses would confirm he and the driver were one in the same. Clark had a revoked license due to a prior DUI offense.
Warrants for felony hit and run, as well as, felony driving after forfeiture of his license were obtained. If you have any information on Clark’s whereabouts, please contact local law enforcement. |
