A 25-year-old Stafford man, wanted by the U.S. Marshals, was found and charged after unlawfully releasing some Kraken.

On September 10th at approximately 5:58 p.m. Deputy X.D. Bates responded to the ABC Store, located at 356 Garrisonville Road, for a larceny. Staff advised a male just slipped two bottles of Kraken Rum into his pockets before leaving the business. Staff was able to provide a license plate for the vehicle the suspect fled in.

As Deputy Bates confirmed the larceny using store cameras, nearby deputies began looking for the suspect vehicle. Sergeant M.L. Jacobeen would locate the vehicle in the 2700 block of Richmond Highway and made contact with the driver. The driver and the Kraken kidnapper were confirmed to be one in the same, Alvin Jallibah. Jallibah not only had signs of intoxication, but a suspended license, and both stolen bottles still in his possession, one of which was partially consumed. It was additionally discovered Jallibah was wanted by the U.S. Marshals for a felony violation.

Jallibah was charged with driving under the influence, drinking while driving, driving while suspended, larceny, second offense refusal, and a warrant of extradition. He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
