An 18-year-old male from Fredericksburg was arrested yesterday after a road rage incident in South Stafford.
On July 17th a plethora of deputies descended on the area of Washington Square Plaza for a disturbance with a weapon. A motorcyclist reported the driver of a silver Honda Accord brandished a revolver during a road rage incident. The suspect vehicle was located in the parking lot near Dollar Tree and the suspect was located inside the business.
The suspect was detained and deputies located a revolver in his vehicle. Deputies soon discovered the firearm serial number was obliterated. Deputy T.S. Myree arrested the suspect and obtained warrants for brandishing and removing the serial number from a firearm. The magistrate released the suspect on an unsecured bond.
Excellent teamwork by these deputies to locate the suspect and remove this weapon from the streets of Stafford County. |
