A wanted 23-year-old man will have plenty of time to think about his poor actions in jail after a run in with Stafford deputies.

On May 29th at approximately 10:52 a.m. deputies received information regarding Jaiden Riddick. Riddick was wanted out of the city of Fredericksburg for abduction, malicious wounding, preventing the summoning of law enforcement, and fleeing from law enforcement.

At approximately 11:46 a.m. deputies observed Riddick at a strip mall in the 3600 block of Richmond Highway. Riddick would bolt out the back of the business and attempt to hide in a vehicle. Riddick’s hide and go seek attempt was foiled by Deputy S.M. Craig who observed him hiding in the back seat. He was detained and provided a false identity. Again, his attempt was quickly foiled.

Riddick was served on his outstanding warrants, as well as, earned a new one for providing a false identity to law enforcement. He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
