With the help of a deer, deputies caught two Woodbridge men doing things they shouldn’t be.
On May 15th at approximately 10:13 p.m. Deputy K.F. Bierfeldt responded to the area of Widewater Road and Telegraph Road for a single vehicle auto accident. The caller advised there was a vehicle stuck in what was described as a ditch. When Deputy Bierfeldt arrived, she observed the Toyota stuck between a rock and a hard place, or in this case, the side of the road.
The driver advised he was headed Southbound on Widewater Road when he saw a deer and swerved to avoid it. This would cause him to hydroplane off the road. The driver however, would have a revoked license. He was charged with endangering life or limb while driving without a license, driving while revoked, and reckless driving. He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
The passenger was transported to a nearby hospital for his injuries. While being treated, it was discovered he was wanted out of Prince William County for two capiases. After his treatment, he will be served on his outstanding warrants.
Thank you to Bambi for helping deputies locate a reckless driver and wanted suspect. |
