A wanted Stafford man made his presence and disapproval of construction very well-known yesterday.
On May 7th at approximately 3:33 p.m. Deputy X.D. Bates responded to Lakewood Drive for a disturbance with a weapon call. The victim advised he and his crew were there to do construction work on the apartment complex. While going about their day, a male came out of his apartment waving a gun towards them.
While investigating the brandishing, the 25-year-old suspect was identified. It was discovered he was wanted out of Prince William County for failure to appear. Deputies gave announcements over their PA system for the suspect to step out. After a brief waiting period, the suspect finally came out and was detained. A firearm was recovered.
The suspect advised the construction was causing too much noise and was interrupting his relaxing time. Due to his behavior, and wanted status, he was given a nice peaceful place to relax, Rappahannock Regional Jail. He was charged with brandishing a firearm and served on his outstanding warrant. He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $2,000 secured bond where his relaxing time was sure to continue. |
