The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office needs your help locating a 22-year-old Port Royal man involved in a recent stabbing.

On March 8th, at approximately 1:40 p.m., Deputy C.S. Harding responded to Genesis Logistics, located at 705 Bradburn place, for an assault. The caller advised two employees were fighting in the warehouse. The suspect fled the scene prior to the call and the victim traveled to a local hospital.

After talking with witnesses, reviewing camera footage, and collecting evidence, Deputy Harding uncovered what occurred. The suspect and victim agreed to engage in mutual combat when the suspect produced a bladed object. After seeing this, the victim attempted to flee, but the suspect chased him down and began assaulting him with the bladed object. This left the victim with non-life-threatening injuries. The victim was able to fight off his attacker, resulting in the attacker fleeing in a dark sedan.

The suspect was identified as Leonard Pratt Jr. He is currently wanted for malicious wounding, assault and battery, as well as, disorderly conduct. If you have any information, please contact the Sheriff’s Office at 540-658-4450.
