On February 15th at 11:26 p.m. deputies responded to a disturbance with a weapon on Doria Hill Drive. Deputy S.A. Edwards interviewed the victim and learned a black male passenger in a red sedan had brandished a firearm as he passed by.
The suspect vehicle description was provided to deputies in the area. It didn’t take long for Deputy T.G. Croson to locate the suspect vehicle and conduct a traffic stop. A 9mm Glock handgun was seized from the vehicle.
The investigation revealed a 22-year-old Stafford resident had brandished the firearm after a road rage incident. He was charged with brandishing and released by the magistrate on an unsecured bond.
Excellent work by the deputies to quickly locate the suspect vehicle, make the arrest and seize the handgun. |
