Not only does Arby’s have the meats, but last night they had an unusual number of people in their bathroom resulting in multiple warrants.
On January 31st at approximately 8:47 p.m. Deputy J.A. Martin and Deputy B.E. Vaughn responded to Arby’s, located at 418 Garrisonville Road, for a disturbance. Witnesses advised two males and a female appeared to be “on something” and all three entered the single use bathroom together. Finding it unlikely three people were attempting to use the same bathroom at the same time, deputies deduced the crispy fish sandwich wasn’t the only fishy thing going on.
Deputies made contact with the three suspects and, in a not so shocking twist, discovered none of them were using the bathroom. Instead, deputies observed signs of drug use scattered throughout the bathroom. All three were detained. The three advised they were not doing anything wrong and acted as if a three for one special was normal. All three had notable signs of being under the influence. During a search incident to arrest, one of the males and the female were found to be in possession of suspected controlled substances.
The three would have to wait until a different day for the slow roasted beef sandwich, for that is not on the Rappahannock Regional Jail menu. Male suspect one and the female were charged with possession of controlled substances and public intoxication. They were held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond. The second male suspect was only charged with public intoxication, and was held until sober. |
