On November 8th at approximately 9:25 a.m. Deputy M.A. Floirendo was conducting her SRO duties at Stafford High School, located at 63 Stafford Indians Lane, when she was informed of a fight in the gym. It was discovered a verbal argument between two juvenile students ensued over a previous incident. The incident escalated when one student assaulted the other.

After both parties were separated, the victim was taken to the nurse’s office where he collapsed. A medevac helicopter was requested to transport the victim to a nearby hospital. Luckily, the victim did not have any major injuries. The suspect was detained at the Juvenile Detention Center for malicious wounding.
