A Stafford man is not having a good year so far after he was observed yesterday driving on two flat tires and arrested for DUI.
On January 21st at 2:54 a.m. Sergeant K.P. Lytle, Jr. noticed a westbound Toyota sedan on Garrisonville Road with two flat driver’s side tires. The driver stopped near Kingsland Drive and Sgt. Lytle pulled in behind him.
Deputy S.C. Jett responded to assist and noticed an odor of alcoholic beverage on the driver’s breath. A red solo cup containing what appeared to be an alcoholic beverage was observed in the cup holder. The 49-year-old male was arrested for DUI and refusal. He was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $1,000 bond.
Thank you to the deputies for their tireless work to combat intoxicated driving.
