A golf club wielding woman was arrested yesterday during a fracas at a North Stafford fast food restaurant.
On January 7th at 2:14 p.m. deputies responded to the McDonald’s at 303 Town Center Boulevard “fore” a disturbance. Witnesses reported a hostile female with a golf club acting aggressively and threatening staff.
Deputy S.M. Craig and Deputy M.L. Warnick located the female at a table in the business, still creating a disturbance and clutching the golf club. The female made the prudent decision to relinquish control of the golf club. No employees or customers were struck during the incident.
The mayhem ended as the female was arrested and charged with public intoxication and disorderly conduct. She was held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail. Her beef with the restaurant, and why she had a golf club, remains a mystery.
Great work by the deputies to peacefully resolve this volatile conflict. |
