On December 29th at 1:07 a.m. Deputy A.J. Charoenthep responded to a head-on accident in the 400 block of Centreport Parkway. He arrived to find a 2021 Toyota Corolla on it’s side in the roadway and a damaged 2021 Nissan Rogue in the wood line.
Both drivers and three passengers from the vehicles were treated for assorted injuries. The driver of the Toyota had a strong odor of alcoholic beverage and a search warrant for his blood was executed. He was subsequently arrested for DUI and reckless driving and held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
