A Petersburg man was arrested for DUI yesterday after a traffic stop in South Stafford.
On September 17th at 10:23 p.m. Sergeant B.U. Demirci stopped a Dodge Charger in the area of Winterberry Drive and Lancaster Street after witnessing the driver make an improper U-turn. Deputy D.S. Jett responded to assist and identified the driver as Tramaine Bandy, 31.
Bandy had bloodshot eyes and an odor of alcoholic beverage on his breath. A suspected controlled substance was located in the vehicle.
Bandy was arrested for DUI and possession of a controlled substance. He was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $2,500 bond.
