UPDATE:
Cody Godwin was taken into custody on December 27 by Stafford County Sheriff's Deputies. He was held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.

On November 18 at 2:24 p.m., Deputy B.U. Demirci was on patrol in the area of 105 Garrisonville Road (Wawa) when he observed a possible wanted subject exit a vehicle parked at the gas pumps. The deputy spoke with the driver who confirmed the subject that had exited the vehicle was Cody Godwin, 27, of Stafford. Deputy Demirci knew Godwin was wanted and requested additional units to help search for him. Responding deputies searched the surrounding area. A K9 track was conducted behind the Walmart on Garrisonville Road, but Godwin was not located. Godwin is wanted for revocation of suspended sentence/probation.
