A wanted Stafford woman was located behind the wheel in an intoxicated state yesterday afternoon. On April 22nd, at approximately 4:02 p.m., Sergeant E.E. West responded to the Stafford Medical Pavilion, located at 125 Hospital Center Boulevard, for an intoxicated driver report. It was advised a female driver arrived at this location and appeared heavily intoxicated. When Sergeant West arrived, she located the Jeep in question parked catawampus across two parking spaces. The driver was halfway leaning out of the driver’s side window in a lethargic state. Sergeant West would observe several signs of intoxication, including the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her breath. When asked how much she had to drink, the driver chuckled before advising “more than four.” The driver was identified as Christina Yingling, 52. Yingling was discovered to be wanted out of Stafford County for a violation of a court order. After using business cameras to confirm she drove to the business, Yingling requested Sergeant West to “just take me to jail.” Before making her way to Rappahannock Regional Jail, Yingling requested to be seen by Fire and Rescue staff. While evaluating her, Yingling assaulted a Fire and Rescue staff member. She was charged with driving under the influence, assault and battery on Fire and Rescue staff, as well as, served on her outstanding warrant. She was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond. |
