Muggle Version Several stray animals were rescued in North Stafford last night through the joint efforts of the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office and Stafford County Fire and Rescue. On January 30th at 7:34 p.m. Deputies V.R. Weadon and KF. Bierfeldt responded to the intersection of North Vine Place and Sterling Court for several abandoned animals. Three puppies were found in the area and a kitten was located in the high branches of a nearby tree. The Emergency Communications Center let the Fire Department know they were needed “right meow” to assist. Firefighters responded and were able to rescue the kitten. The puppies and kitten are all resting comfortably at the Animal Shelter and we are waiting to see if an owner comes forward. Thank you to our partners at Stafford Fire and Rescue for their assistance on this incident. Wizard Version The Daily Prophet reports Aurors with the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office used the Marauder’s Map to locate three stray dogs and a kitten last night in North Stafford. On January 30th at 7:34 p.m. Aurors V.R. Weadon and K.F. Bierfeldt apparated at the intersection of North Vine Place and Sterling Court for several abandoned animals. They encountered the Magical Menagerie which included three puppies we have affectionately named Harry Pawter, Ron Fleasly and Salazar Snifferin. The Aurors didn’t need a Pocket Sneakoscope to discover a kitten hiding in the high branches of a nearby Whomping Willow in the Forbidden Forest. The Aurors lacked a Nimbus 2000 to retrieve the kitten we have affectionately named Hermeowone. Unfortunately, the Accio Charm failed to bring Hermeowone down to the ground. A quick call to our fellow First Responders of the Fire Department solved the problem. Harry Pawter, Ron Fleasly, Salazar Snifferin and Hermeowone were all transported by Floo Powder to the Common Room of the Stafford County Animal Shelter. Remember, it is easier to adopt an animal than to catch the Golden Snitch. For just a few Sickles you can provide a dog or cat a furever home! Thank you to our partners at Stafford County Fire and Rescue for assisting last night. |
