A repeat DUI driver was not only located intoxicated again, but this time behind the wheel of a stolen vehicle.

On December 14th at approximately 10:04 a.m. Deputy J.L. Jones was traveling Westbound on Garrisonville Road in the area of Richmond Highway. While doing so, he observed a Ford F-150 being driven by a female. This stood out to him, for Culpeper County just released a service request involving a F-150 stolen in their jurisdiction. This service request had information advising the female would potentially be traveling to the Super 8, located at 25 Wicomico Drive.

Deputy Jones, now accompanied by Sergeant J.W. Hutcheson, observed the truck in the parking lot and confirmed it to be the stolen one from Culpeper County. Deputies quickly made contact with the driver and detained her. While doing so, strong signs of intoxication were observed, including the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her breath. The driver admitted to consuming “approximately 6 and a half beers with crack cocaine.” It was also discovered this was not her first DUI related incident and her license was forfeited.

The driver, Alisha Letourneau, 36, of Jeffersonton, was charged with third offense driving under the influence within five to ten years, and driving after forfeiture of her license. She was also served on a Culpeper County warrant for unauthorized use of a vehicle. She was held at Rappahannock Regional jail without bond while the victim was reunited with their vehicle.
