A victim was robbed at gunpoint over the weekend on Centreport Parkway.

On December 1st at approximately 3:57 p.m. Deputy D.S. Jett responded to the area of Centreport Parkway and Mountain View Road for a robbery. The victim advised he was robbed at gunpoint. As additional deputies began to set up a perimeter, Deputy Jett made contact with the victim.

The victim advised he was heading Eastbound on Centreport Parkway when he stopped at the intersection for Mountain View Road. There, he observed two males standing on the side of the road. Suspect one would walk directly in front of the victim’s vehicle to prevent him from driving forward. Suspect two would approach the vehicle on the passenger side and brandish a firearm. The suspects would demand multiple items from the victim, including jewelry and his wallet. After the victim complied, both suspects fled with their bicycles into the nearby woods.

A K-9 and drone were deployed in an attempt to locate the suspects. After an extensive search with no results, the search was terminated. Detectives in the Major Crimes Unit are now investigating the incident. Both suspects were described to be wearing all black clothing, ski masks and both were in possession of a black bicycle. If you have any information, please contact Detective J.T. Lynch at 540-658-4450.
