A wanted 33-year-old Stafford man and 30-year-old Stafford female were found in possession of “pure” fentanyl during a traffic stop in South Stafford. On November 22nd at approximately 2:04 p.m., Deputy S.A. Hensley was traveling Southbound on Warrenton Road when he observed a Ford Focus with an expired inspection. Deputy Hensley conducted a traffic stop at the Warrenton Road Commuter Lot and made contact with both occupants. Deputy Hensley would recognize the passenger as Kyle Dunbar, who was wanted for four shoplifting offenses. He was detained without incident. The driver, Khadijah Francis, had no driver’s license and was issued a summons for the offense. A search of the vehicle was conducted prior to having it towed. During the search, Deputy Hensley observed signs of drug activity and several containers with suspected controlled substances. Due to this, Francis was also detained. Both suspects admitted to switching from the blue fentanyl pills to “F” due to the blue pills being “too dangerous.” “F” was described as pure fentanyl, which was what was in the containers Deputy Hensley located. As a result, both were additionally charged with possession of controlled substances. Francis was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $2,500 secured bond while Dunbar was held without bond. |
