We’ve all had a nightmare roommate before; however, a 35-year-old Stafford man decided to top them all early Thursday morning. On November 14th at approximately 3:02 a.m. Deputy K.P. Hall and Deputy M.A. Holub were on Shaw Court. While there, they heard a loud ruckus coming from a residence followed by someone yelling “get off me!” Deputies quickly responded to the residence, to discover the issue. Deputies made contact with two males inside the residence and inquired what occurred. It was discovered Mychal Tamillow, in an intoxicated state, decided to confront his roommate over a problem with rent. The victim would retreat to his bedroom in hopes of de-escalating the situation, but Tamillow had a different idea. Tamillow would break down the bedroom door, assault that victim, and demand cash from him. The assault was interrupted by deputies’ presence and was recorded. Tamillow was charged with breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony, attempted robbery, as well as, assault and battery. Tamillow would get a new roommate as he was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $5,000 secured bond. |
