An out of control disturbance escalated into another out of control disturbance Sunday night.

On November 10th at approximately 4:49 p.m. deputies responded to Kendrick Court for a large-scale fight. It was advised between ten to twenty juveniles were involved in a physical altercation. When deputies arrived, some of the juveniles in question began to scatter and disperse. Deputies attempted to determine what occurred with those who remained.

While investigating, juveniles and adults alike returned in an agitated state. Due to parties screaming at each other and potential additional fights seconds away from breaking out, it was determined those in an agitated state needed to be detained until the situation could be de-escalated. While de-escalating the situation, a juvenile would interfere and assault a deputy. Eventually, deputies were able to calm everyone down and discovered what originally brought them out to Kendrick Court.

It was discovered juvenile one and juvenile two engaged in an unreported fight earlier in the day. Because of that, juvenile one sought out juvenile two with a 19-year-old family member. Another fight between juvenile one and juvenile two would ensue. During this fight, the 19-year-old would interject himself by assaulting juvenile two, striking another juvenile with a Stanley Cup, and brandishing a pepper spray bottle.

The 19-year-old was charged with two counts of assault and battery, two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, as well as, assault. He was released by the magistrate on personal recognizance. The juvenile who assaulted a deputy received criminal complaints for assault on law enforcement, and obstruction of justice. Additional criminal complaints for the juveniles involved are pending.
