On August 21st at approximately 1:10 a.m. deputies responded to the 600 block of Poplar Road for a single vehicle auto accident. It was advised a vehicle struck a tree and rolled over numerous times.

When deputies arrived, they discovered the vehicle was occupied by four individuals. Unfortunately, the 18-year-old driver was pronounced deceased at the scene. The other three occupants were transported to nearby hospitals to be treated for their injuries.

The preliminary investigation revealed the vehicle was traveling Northbound when the driver lost control and went off the roadway. Speed appears to be a factor in the crash.

The driver was identified as Landon Lynn of Stafford. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Mr. Lynn. This crash is still under investigation by Deputy R.A. Weatherholtz.
