A Spotsylvania man defied the heat advisory yesterday by sporting a ski mask during a trespassing exploit in South Stafford.

With the heat index approaching 108 degrees, deputies responded to a trespassing call at Stonehaven Drive at 4:30 p.m. Deputy K.W. Suter identified the trespasser as Tyjuan Dorsey, 19. Dorsey was notified of the trespassing violation and willingly left the apartment complex.

At 6:11 p.m. Deputy Suter was advised Dorsey had returned to the property and was now wearing a ski mask despite the high temperature. Dorsey was subsequently arrested for trespassing and wearing a mask in public. He was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $1,000 bond.
