Julius Caesar’s famous quote “I came, I saw, I conquered” is like a mantra for our Animal Control Officers. It only seems fitting to name this rescued rat snake Julius Squeezer.

Yesterday deputies responded to a residence in Stafford Lakes Village for a report of a snake stuck in a glue trap. Deputies R.A. Peterson and O.J. Martins arrived to find Julius Squeezer in a glue trap in a backyard shed. The pair were able to free Julius, clean him up and return him to the wild.
