A wanted Alexandria man attempted to avoid being arrested by giving multiple fake identities. That choice would only earn the suspect more warrants.

On October 5th at approximately 12:10 p.m. Deputy A.J. Charoenthep responded to Newcastle Place for a suspicious person call. The caller advised there was a man outside her apartment window. When Deputy Charoenthep arrived on scene, he located the suspect sitting on her back porch.

While conversing with Deputy Charoenthep, the suspect would provide a false identity. Deputy Charoenthep quickly discovered the lie and gave the suspect another chance to provide the right answer. This time, the suspect attempted to claim he was Peso the Rapper. With a little help from Google, that too was discovered to be a lie. The suspect was then detained.

Eventually the suspect was identified as Keenan Duncan, 27. Duncan was wanted out of Stafford for two capiases and trespassing. During a search incident to arrest, suspected controlled substances were located on his person.

Duncan was charged with identity theft, providing a false identity to law enforcement, obstruction of justice, and possession of controlled substances. He was also served on his outstanding warrants. He was held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.
