A Spotsylvania County man was arrested for DUI yesterday after his truck became stuck in a North Stafford yard like a bologna sandwich to the roof of your mouth. On August 19th at 5:20 p.m. Deputy A.M. Pitts responded to a drunk driver complaint in the 400 block of Hope Road. The investigation revealed a 26-year-old man pulled into the wrong driveway and attempted to turn around. The driver backed down a hill and proceeded to slide downward like Bud Light stock prices. He was unable to get his Ford F150 back up the hill as the tires continued to spin. The driver had an odor of alcoholic beverage and was arrested after field sobriety tests. He was charged with DUI second offense in five years and open container. He was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond. Drive sober or get pulled over. |
