Two wanted individuals were arrested and suspected controlled substances were taken off the streets after a traffic stop early Saturday morning.

On July 8th at approximately 12:13 a.m. First Sergeant D.W. Fetterolf conducted a traffic stop at Shanks Towing, located at 500 Mussleman Road. As soon as First Sergeant Fetterolf made contact with the driver, identified as Justin Humphrey, 38, he observed suspected controlled substances. When Humphrey was asked to exit the vehicle, even more suspected controlled substances fell out of his pants.

Deputy F.C. O’Neil and Deputy A.J. Charoenthep responded to assist. Humphrey was wanted for violating probation on a felony offense, while the passenger, Tiffany Bowyer, 32, was wanted for a probation violation on a felony offense. She was discovered to be in possession of suspected controlled substances. It was also discovered Humphrey had a revoked driver’s license.

Humphrey was charged with driving while revoked, three controlled substances related charges, and served on his outstanding warrant. Bowyer was charged with two controlled substances related charges, and served on her outstanding warrant. Both were held at Rappahannock Regional Jail without bond.

Great work to all deputies involved for locating two wanted individuals.
