Stafford County Sheriff’s Office deputies were first on the scene to a medical emergency yesterday and were able to save a life with Narcan and CPR.

On July 3rd at 10:39 a.m. deputies responded to a home in South Stafford for a possible overdose. Deputy T.K. Phillips arrived on the scene in just over a minute and located an unresponsive female. Deputy Phillips administered a dose of Narcan and began CPR.

Deputy J.E. Cordes was next to arrive and provided a second dose of Narcan and took over the chest compressions. Sergeant N. Zotos also responded and assisted with CPR until medics took over care.

Thanks to the work of these deputies, the female regained a pulse and was transported to the hospital for further care. Great work by these deputies to save a life.
