Why did the “goat” cross the road? With the help of deputies, to reunite with its mom.

This morning, Deputy O.J. Martins and Deputy D.R. Ludolph responded to Celebrate Virginia Parkway for a goat trying to elope. When deputies arrived, it was discovered the goat with the most wasn’t even a goat, but a fawn we’ll name Shawn.

Deputies got the good i-deer to get Shawn the fawn out of the road, and back into the lawn. While we still can’t answer the question why the chicken crossed the road, we can confirm the fawn crossed the road to meet up with its mom. We’ll call her Dawn. As quick as they arrived, Shawn and Dawn were then gone.

Great work to Deputy Martins and Deputy Ludolph for reuniting this family and providing a story that’s worth a million bucks.
