News Release from Baltimore, MD 3/16/2010

Police Arrest Boyfriend Who Killed Jerryell Myesha Foster in Precinct 7/Cockeysville

Virginia Police Find Foster's Body

Baltimore County Police have arrested Frederick Allen Christian, 30, of the 800-block of Appleton Street, 21217 for the murder of Jerryell Foster. Ms. Foster, 23, went missing on November 25, 2009. Christian was arrested late last night in Baltimore City.

Jerryell Myesha Foster had been missing from her home in the unit-block of Hazy Morn Court, 21093. A family member told police that Ms. Foster was not at Thanksgiving dinner and they were concerned about her well being. It was out of character for Jerryell to miss a holiday and not be in contact with her family.

Police asked for assistance in the case on two separate occasions since her disappearance; first, when they discovered a sofa from Foster's address had been discarded, and secondly, after receiving an anonymous call about the sofa.

On March 2, a body matching the description of Jerryell Foster was found off an exit ramp on southbound I-95 and Virginia state road 610 (exit 143) in Stafford County, Virginia. The Stafford County Sheriff's Office and Baltimore County detectives began discussing the case. After tests were completed for identification, the body was positively identified as Jerryell Foster. An autopsy concluded that she died as a result of gunshot wounds, and the case was ruled a homicide.

Frederick Allen Christian is charged with first-degree murder and is being held on denied bail at the Baltimore County Detention Center. A bail review will be scheduled for sometime today or tomorrow.
