On November 25, 2016 at approximately 4:20 a.m. Deputy G.P. Gabrielli was on patrol along Warrenton Road. He observed a black Scion appearing to have an altered 2016 registration sticker. Deputy Gabrielli initiated a traffic stop and identified the driver as Eric McPherson. McPherson admitted his driver’s license was suspended and he had not registered the vehicle. He stated that he had received the 2016 registration sticker from a friend. He further advised that he possessed marijuana on his person.

McPherson was also determined to be wanted by the Virginia State Police on a weapons charge.

Keith Eric McPherson, age 36 of Ellery Court in Spotsylvania, was charged with Possession of Marijuana, Driving with a Suspended/Revoked License, Vehicle Registration Violations, Expired Registration, Expired Plates and No Insurance. He was transported to the Rappahannock Regional Jail and held on a $1,000 secured bond.
