MISSING MAN FOUND

The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to report that the missing man, Lance Calvin Buckley, that multiple law enforcement agencies were looking for has been found and in good condition.

Lance Buckley was located in Frederick County by the Brunswick Police Department and Rangers from the National Park Service at the Brunswick Family Campground, near Harper’s Ferry, West Virginia.. The agencies were responding to tips that an individual meeting Buckley’s description was seen in the area.

The Stafford County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the Montgomery County Police Department, the District of Columbia Metropolitan Police Department, the Howard University Police Department, The US Park Police, the National Park Service, the Brunswick Police Department and the FBI for their assistance in this investigation.

The Sheriff’s Office would also like to acknowledge the assistance of the numerous media outlets that frequently broadcasted the Stafford County Sheriff’s Office request for assistance from the public.

“We are truly pleased that Mr. Buckley was found safe and in good condition,” states Sheriff Charles Jett. “The partnership between the law enforcement agencies , the Media and citizens in this region were critical to locating Lance Buckley.”
